WIR: It's Michael Scott!

Week in Review takes a look back at the week that was on television by using short and pithy comments. Pretty simple formula, right? Enjoy!

MONDAY
Gossip Girl: Three cheers for Michelle Tractenberg who assimilates herself so easily into the role of Georgina Sparks that it's really hard to tell if she's even acting. As she told People this week: "The nasty bitch is back in town ... I don’t take the nastiness off set, but sometimes when the paparazzi get in my face, Georgina comes out." Meanwhile, Leighton Meester continues to prove herself Emmy-worthy. The look on her face when Nate suggested that she take the subway was beyond priceless.

24: This thing is still on? Ugh! Truth be told, I now zone out during 24 and check my email/fantasy baseball team in lieu of paying attention. Though I think I saw Will Patton show up as yet another shady heavy. Armageddon for life, Mr. Patton!

Chuck: If this was the end, it was a good one. Read my review here.

TUESDAY
Fringe: Dear Fringe: It's not shocking to reveal that Massive Dynamic's William Bell is the bad guy when you've given us no other possibility over the course of the season. Thanks. Signed, Everyone.

WEDNESDAY
President Obama's Umpteenth Primetime Address: President Obama managed to end his speech on time, so Lost wasn't disrupted. Looks like I'll vote for him again in 2012.

L O S T: "I'm getting kinda used to insane."

THURSDAY
Parks and Recreation: As much as I like this show--and as much as it rips off The Office (see: the cold open where bags of dog poop were thrown around)--this episode moved a *tad* too slowly for my liking. Still, having Aziz Ansari question Amy Poehler about her sex dreams was pretty inspired stuff.

The Office: Things I liked: that Michael Scott proved once again to be smarter-than-the-average idiot; that, in addition to Dwight being a total jerk, they allowed the grating Phyllis to become one as well; that Pam is now a saleswoman.

30 Rock: Was anyone else shocked that 30 Rock went for the whole ripped-from-the-headlines "woman treats monkey like child then has it violently turn on her" subplot. Dare I say: too soon? That aside, the idea that Liz and Grizz had some sort of one-off fling in the past certainly made up for it. Twist!

Grey's Anatomy: Hello, filler episode! If this show was about Lexie and Mark (the lovely Chyler Leigh and the surprisingly charming Eric Dane), I think it would be a lot better. So the fact that the two stars had a combined five minutes of screentime last night should tell you all you need to know.
